uechi kid Posted February 11, 2013 Author #26 Posted February 11, 2013 After several months of trying to get a hold of Jason Ellis, I finally was able to speak with Danny Shockley, who is apparently the real owner. He agreed to send $200 for my time and materials to fix the things that were wrong with the trailer when I received it. I got his check, deposited it. When I know it's cleared, I'm going to delete my posts.
jimmyenglish Posted February 11, 2013 #27 Posted February 11, 2013 Good buddy of mine bought the Liberty last year. It's a cool trailer but after 2 days the lock broke. The chromish trim went sailing off after 50 miles but worst of all, the wheel bearing siezed or something and the wheel literally fell off after 150 miles in the middle of the desert! He left it there and went back to pick it up in with his truck. Also, the cooler mount was all willy nilly and tilting all over the place. We welded it on since there was no way U bolts were going to hold it on (on the round tounge). Good looking trailer but not for that kind of dough. Fit and finish isn't there. I hope you have a better experience.
