JohnT Posted August 26, 2012 #7 Posted August 26, 2012 As much as I wish I could have made it I had to let other plans get in the way. When your oldest daughter says she doesnt want a big wedding or a reception, or any of the trappings, what do you do? You stand in a park beside a river , sun coming through the trees as they get married. ( this was last Saturday. Having our wallet let off the hook we paid for weeks stay in Niagra Falls and then yesterday we took them, Heathers new in laws, and a few close family members out to a celebration dinner. She is Brandons problem now. I have carefully explained our return policy to him, no take backs. Ever:whistling: Had I gotten to sit and ask God personally for a son in law I ccouldnt have done any better. One of these days I am going to actually get to attend one of these events.
Rickster Posted August 26, 2012 #8 Posted August 26, 2012 Well Michelle wanted to take me on the Victory, YES she would be the pilot and me co-pilot. Would have loved to have made it but OK I'm a chicken, there I said it. I have to admit I don't have the nerve to climb on the back of these scoots and ride. So for all of you who do, your braver than I. And Michelle would have been showing off for MC Tom I'm sure and my pucker factor would have been kicking in. We will be there next year R&R and Steamer so PLEASE plan another.

ddoggma Posted August 26, 2012 #10 Posted August 26, 2012 Thanks for the great ride, and good times. The lakes were impressive and massive. I did not know that. Camped in Draper,PA sat night. Then stopped at the PA "grand Canyon" by Wellsboro. Lots of nice scenic rides to be had. In that area. Bike was cranky cause, one of my buddies welded spots on the collector, failed a little.lol I was lucky thou, she had a sweet spot at 4000rpm that she would good good at. PS: Magees' dinner is the bomb!

PBJ Posted August 27, 2012 #13 Posted August 27, 2012 Hey Bob and Robin, Terri and I Had a great Time . Thanks again for planning a ride in our wonderful area. It was a lot of fun and you both did a great job. Good route and nice dinner spot even if the service was just okay. Thats alright though we had a great time. Escorted the last three past Geneva and Canandaigua the back route and dropped them off at 5&20 on the other side of the city. NYJerry and I are thinking of putting together a fall run sometime in late september early october. We'll let you know what we plan but i think lunch at Bully hill will be part of the ride to enjoy the beautiful colors. Thanks again. PB&J Phil. L. :ice_awesome-vi46644:thumbsup2:
KevinR Posted August 27, 2012 #14 Posted August 27, 2012 Just wanted to say thanks for setting up such a great ride. Judy and I really enjoyed ourselves, nice to get to know some more people as we're newbies in the social part of Venturerider having only been to the International previously. LOVED that back part of 3 Brothers winery, looked like something out of Disney! We'll be looking forward to the next event.
