04 RSV Rear tire

Hi,

I am looking to buy a new rear tire for my 04 RSV. Looking at the Dunlop Elite 3's and the Michelin Commander 11. Any comments on either one good or bad.Also a good place to buy them.

Kelly, asking about tires....you will get a lot of opinions.

 

IMHO...for what it's worth...I would go with the Dunlop E-3 on the rear.

Personally, I would not buy a Michelin tire...at all.

 

As I said, it is all a matter of opinions.

Liking my E3's so far...

Bought my E3 from Jake Wilson off the internet. Free shipping, took 2-3 days to deliver. After 9000 miles it still has lots of tread and I like the ride.

I've been running E-3's since the original Commanders became unavailable. The Commanders gave me the best mileage so far out of a rear tire, E-3's just a little less. I'll probably try a new Commander when I need another rear tire.

 

So, IMHO, either tire should work well for you.
