MKI & MKII fork diameter?

I'm not sure of my memory on this one but both the MKI and MKII inner fork tubes are 40mm or 41mm diameter?

They would have to carry off a lot of pieces at the moment.

But I'm not walking any farther than I have to. Which for the time being means I'm not going anywhere off the top floor of my place for now.
