Freebird Posted August 16, 2012 Author #26 Posted August 16, 2012 I appreciate all the comments folks. You've given me some GREAT ideas. I'm sure I can get it going now. Luckily, I did have a spare with me.
Trader Posted August 16, 2012 #27 Posted August 16, 2012 How many miles did you run flat? It looks like you tried to limp home from Alabama!
Freebird Posted August 16, 2012 Author #28 Posted August 16, 2012 Nope, it just BLEW and I pulled over almost immediately. I was pretty surprised when I saw how bad it was. I had checked the air pressure before leaving and then checked it again immediately before heading home. The trailer was empty on the way home so that was good. The tires had a lot of tread and I saw no cracking but they ARE old.
dacheedah Posted August 16, 2012 #29 Posted August 16, 2012 A harbor freight plastic welder can fix this right up. U also need popcorn, ice cream and root beer. . . . Is that a door prize for MD next year
BradT Posted August 17, 2012 #30 Posted August 17, 2012 Ah a motorcycle trailer. Pretty sure I have a picture of that with a Green Venture on it Brad
Freebird Posted August 17, 2012 Author #31 Posted August 17, 2012 You DO not. AND...I was NOT using it this time to trailer my Venture. I was delivering somebody Else's bike. AND...I DO NOT HAVE A GREEN VENTURE.
BradT Posted August 17, 2012 #32 Posted August 17, 2012 and I DO NOT HAVE A GREEN VENTURE. Sounds like Dr. Seuss Brad
