I always use ngk dpr8ea-9, stock #4929, get them at autozone, about 2 bucks a piece.

 

Same here.

 

These are the stock plugs recommended for the bike.

 

They just work.

thanks for that info im about to go buy plugs to do a tune up on my 84 and a set for my 99rstd which still has factory original plugs in the 84 i dont know what it has yet

You only pay $2 a piece for plugs??? I don't think a person can even get any spark plug here for $2. I believe the last ones I bought were over $6 each.

As a thought.......Next time you're in the U.S. you ought to buy a dozen NGK's or have a friend ship them to you....
