Gary N. Posted January 20, 2008 #4 Posted January 20, 2008 Thanks Tom, It's good to be back, even if only on the weekends right now. I sure hate having to go back to the hospital on Sunday night. The better I'm feeling the longer the days get in there. They're getting me up to 3 hours of therapy a day and I have to say, it sure is tiring. It's amazing how weak you get from laying in a hospital bed for too long. I've lost a total of 80 lbs. in the last year (back to what I weighed in high school) so I'm glad I don't have to move all of that around during my work outs. When they put 5 lb. weights around my ankles it feels like 50. I was amazed at how heavy the pot of coffee was when I made some this morning. I don't recall having any trouble carrying it before. When I went down in the basement this morning to check things out I had no problem going down but coming back up, well lets just say it wasn't pretty. Getting stronger every day. I just can't wait to get back to where I was before. Gary
Bummer Posted January 20, 2008 #5 Posted January 20, 2008 Great to see you back Gary. Be patient. It's been two and a half years for me and my left leg is still much smaller than the right. But it builds up a little bit every day. Good luck!

Marcarl Posted January 20, 2008 #8 Posted January 20, 2008 Sounds like you have the right attitude in your post, and that's good, but I know it ain't a bed of roses either at home or in the hospital, so we keep praying for you.
