fast flash

Ok tonight everything is working fine then I started getting a fast flash on right turn signal. Checked all lights and they are fine, left turn works normally. Any thoughts??

Fast flash usually means a burnt out turn signal on the side that is fast

or a bad earth to the light.

What I thought but they are all lit and nothing even dim . . . ., maybe I pull and clean

It is possible for a filament in the bulb to break and short to where it still lights but just not to the correct circuit. The flasher still knows it aint right.

Mine has done that a few times after I washed the bike...You did happen to washed before this happen did you?

Have you actually pulled the lenses and checked for water/corrosion? I've seen at least three RSVs that had water in the rear turn signals...these happened to all be the left rear though and the sockets had corroded.

Just another good reason to NEVER wash the bike........

Pulled the rear, all good. I rode over to Indiana to a yamaha dealer, they made calls and recommended replacing front and rear and see what happens... Thats what Ill try

Washed about a week ago, ridden every day since,

I bought the wrong bulbs. . . these puppies have some strange offsets , so my end result was I pulled them out, all seemed fine, and ended up just putting them back in and guess what. They work fine now. I looked at the bulbs and they look good, the posts are at odd angles and not 180. . .
