How much should a furnace blower motor cost?

I just had to say that this is exactly why I have no problem paying my $12 every year. What a great group of people on this site, to be able to ask questions about anything, doesn't matter if it's bike bike related or not, and get good solid advice, not flamed like you would on some other forums. Awesome, just Awesome!

I'm cool again. I went out the first thing this morning to a local motor supply and repair shop and picked up an Emmerson motor that fit. Took me about 40 minutes to get it mounted, installed and wired in. Works perfectly now.

Glad you fixed it yourself. Good deal. good thread too.I am late to the party, but for the price you were quoted , you could have picked up a small window shaker for the bedroom for $100.00 or so to get you by for the weekend till the parts store opened and still been money ahead.

 

I have a small AC I can run with a generator in case of long term power outage from hurricanes/storms. They are handy to have around.
