dacheedah Posted August 1, 2012 Share #3 Posted August 1, 2012 We just found a car in a shooting in Chicago, it was from a tow truck that drove down the street at 1:00am. a lot of cabs, tow trucks, squad cars, toll booths, parking lots and parking enforcement have these and they do data dumps into a database and for someone who is looking for you, they will find you. It will tell tell you where a car is or has been. It is also very much big brother but if you have a cell phone, credit card, or use a rewards card people R watching your habits. Yep, unless you live under a rock, you would be amazed at how much information there is out there about you, especially if you are involved with media like Facebook. The way I read this, the ACLU may be asking for accountability on this information and I don't see anything wrong with that. I am definitely not a fan of the ACLU, but sometimes they are looking out for our best interest. RandyA

djh3 Posted August 1, 2012 Share #6 Posted August 1, 2012 For the most part I would just as soon use the ACLU for target practice. I cant think of to many things they have done that are worth a hoot. This I can see reasoning behind. But if you aint done nothing wrong, you got nothing to worry about. I agree, for those of us that use a credit card, cell hone, fly for work, have a prepaid tool tag in your vehicle. They know where you are anyways. Besides one of my favorite shows is "person of interest". How far off could it be?
