friesman Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 North of border AHH, thanks! that does sound better than SOB.......
ashley9187 Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 Ok, another question about On.. What is the altitude of Redditt On. CA.. Will I have any problems with high altitude carb adjustment? Road conditions? I used google map but the maps are at least 5 years old, or so. Looks like I will be heading into the boonies, more or less. This trip is going to be my longest on my RSV. Rick A.

Roughly 1300 fee5t above sea level. Can't see it being high enough to cause a problem/ Unless you're tuned for the Rockies.

No, I'm not tuned for the Rockies, but now that you mention it I will be heading in that direction when I (we) leave Canada. The northern Rockies or the Cascades, crossing from Idaho into Washington state via I-15. Anyone for see a problem on I-15??? Rick A.
Gary N. Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I've had my RSV over 12000 feet in Colorado and other then a little popping on deceleration it ran great.
friesman Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Last year when we had the INTL meet in Cody WY I dont recall anyone with carbs having altitude issues with the Beartooth Pass and that was over 11000 ft and the temps went from over 100f to high30s F on the ride that day. Brian
ashley9187 Posted August 9, 2012 Author Posted August 9, 2012 Guess I can go anywhere then. "Look out roads never traveled, here I come!!" 11,000 miles worth!!! Rick A.
