Hi all, anyone know how to fix this short of buyin a new slider?

First thing to do is to check the slider for any cracks. Sometimes they will crack at the open side where the metal pushes into the plastic, then you need a new one. Other than that, put it all back together the way it should be, gently but firmly seat it all together and you could be good to go. See if it will come apart real easy, and if not it should hold. If it comes apart real easy, look for cracks again with the metal piece in place. If there are still no cracks add a bit of glue to hold things together. Let it dry and insert it into the carb. If it slides easy and freely, good, if it binds even a little bit, you missed seeing a crack, get a new one.
