Chrome plating

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced and reliable chrome plating company. I am in the Detroit, MI area and would prefer to deal face to face rather than on the phone or by mail.

Did you try the yellow pages?

There are about 30 chrome platers in a 30 mile radius of me.

Pay them a visit and talk to them, ask for references, If they have been in business for a long time they don't do that by messing stuff up.

Yep, sure did. And of the six that I found only two must have been interested. Of those two, they were outrageously priced. Must not need the work. Made a set of covers for my carbs. Tried just polishing, but there are a few marks that just won't buff out.

 

So, if someone has a reliable chromer, post it here, or send me a message with the info.
