does any one know where to get the. exhaust box on the bottom of the 83 model. was going to farmerize but pipe broke in half. right before my eyes. that was where that smoke in the sky came from.lol cant afford fancy stuff just want to ride this parts bike.

well so far they have been to high priced on ee bay as there all complete systems. is there after market headers for this old of a bike to replace just the box

There is an aftermarket replacement available, I think it was Dingy that put one on his bike. I don't remember the maker.

If it is the pipe or pipes on the front of the collector that broke off it might be able to be fixed, I took mine from my 83 to a local muffler shop and they made adapters and welded them onto the inlet. $20.00 repair.

three are rusted all the way off and two are paper thin with cracks the outlet with the bends are the paper ones

I've got a pretty good collector box off an 87 with only 36,000 miles on it and it has sat since '02, looks in great condition since I took it off the parts bike about three months ago. I'll take $40 plus $20 bucks shipping for it if'n you want it.
