Need help with Vstrom

My niece and her boyfriend are stuck up north with a bike running at red line.Throttle moves correctly but the bike still red lines.I am going to pick them up now with trailer.If anyone has any suggestions please call.Thanks Ray 416-567-0055:whistling:

Probably the cable. Tank and air plenum come off pretty easy for visual. Tank comes off after loosening the plastic. Plenum with lots of wires hoses and two clamps to the throttle bodies.
