dunvilsteev Posted July 20, 2012 #1 Posted July 20, 2012 A new purchase for me that may interest some of you. This is called a BIKE BARN, sold out of B.C. I made a "pad" out of paving stones we had elsewhere, and the Barn took about 2 hours to assemble. It is a drive-in-close-up structure, no fear of hot pipes, good for all seasons, weighed down by cinder blocks but you can permanently secure if you wish. There is a gif on the website of a pretty girl in shorts opening and closing it. http://www.thebikebarn.net/index.html
bikerpop33 Posted July 20, 2012 #3 Posted July 20, 2012 I own one also. For anyone without a garage it's a great alternative.
dunvilsteev Posted July 20, 2012 Author #4 Posted July 20, 2012 Oh yeah, and a sale on right now including free delivery. Until the end of the month.
Condor Posted July 21, 2012 #5 Posted July 21, 2012 We get some pretty healthy winds on occasion. 50-60mph+. Anyone vouch for high wind performance??
dunvilsteev Posted July 22, 2012 Author #6 Posted July 22, 2012 There is a testimonial area on the site with people mentioning windy conditions. The unit has a metal plate you park the front wheel upon, also it comes predrilled for anchor bolts. I have cinder blocks on it for now because I plan on re-locating during the winter. The cover is bolted to the frame, and velcro straps. But, its new to me too, Condor, so "I'll let y'all know" is the best I can say more now!
