Black Owl Posted July 17, 2012 #1 Posted July 17, 2012 It is a sad day fors ol pickers like Freebird and a few others. The Queen of Country Music, Ms Kitty Wells, has passed on. Next to Willie, she was one of my favorite old time country singers.

My first kiss was with her grandoughter LeeAnn Wright,whose father was Johnny Wright (Willie) from McHales Navy. Small world....Rest in peace Ms. Kitty
