SteveW Posted January 17, 2008 #4 Posted January 17, 2008 Yep 3 inches here in Cleveland , Ga. and still coming down. I hope the snow drifts don't block us in the house ..LOL:rotf::rotf: Should be out riding by sunday when its up to 58 again. Why does everyone buy milk and bread when its going to snow. ( If you loose power the milk will go bad unless you put it outside.)
Terry Richardson Posted January 17, 2008 #5 Posted January 17, 2008 Heeey... I have seen that white stuff before.... ON OUR BEACHES:rotf:...LOL
Sleeperhawks Mechanic Posted January 17, 2008 #6 Posted January 17, 2008 Yep 3 inches here in Cleveland , Ga. and still coming down. I hope the snow drifts don't block us in the house ..LOL:rotf::rotf: Should be out riding by sunday when its up to 58 again. Why does everyone buy milk and bread when its going to snow. ( If you loose power the milk will go bad unless you put it outside.) The funny thing is that lunchmeat is not sold out or peanut butter. I guess people just drink milk and eat bread!:cool10:

lockdoc Posted January 17, 2008 #11 Posted January 17, 2008 Sorry Guys - its only 106 in the shade here in Perth Western Australia. Warm enough to melt your tyres.
muffinman Posted January 17, 2008 #12 Posted January 17, 2008 No Todd I did Not ride a 2 gen today I rode a real bike lol. They are calling for the weather to hit us tonight so I will get to play in it in the morning on the Blonde. Stay warm Jeff
stardbog Posted January 17, 2008 #13 Posted January 17, 2008 What A global warming !!!! They call for -26* F ( -33*C) Here in Chicago by the end of the week. Windchill factor will be going up to -40*F. Good Time to check heated clothing. Who wants to go riding ? :rotf:
muffinman Posted January 17, 2008 #14 Posted January 17, 2008 I'm ready Dan when we leaving? Where we going? And do we have to come back? Lets Ride Jeff
86er Posted January 17, 2008 Author #15 Posted January 17, 2008 I've got a down vest, good gloves, leathers and a hoodie, who needs heated? No need to come back! Lets go! Where are we meeting?
mini-muffin Posted January 19, 2008 #17 Posted January 19, 2008 Hey Todd you getting snow today? Margaret
86er Posted January 19, 2008 Author #18 Posted January 19, 2008 A little rain and sleet right now they say, although I don't see any out my window. Snow due in the next 15 or 20 minutes according to TWC. Tell Jeff to stay away from those 2nd Gens! I need to go get a haircut and the truck is on jackstands undergoing a brake job. (I ain't working on that today either!) Haven't decided if I might ride to the barber's. I haven't ridden in the snow in 25 years and that was on a 125 Suzuki not an 835 lb behemoth! As I finish this, I just looked out the window to see 3 snowflakes fall! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_4_8.gif
muffinman Posted January 19, 2008 #19 Posted January 19, 2008 I dont know why you are complaining about 3 little snow flakes Todd. No I am not riding no second gens I am on the Blonde again today but am at home for a change it was a nice ride in last night. Jeff
86er Posted January 19, 2008 Author #20 Posted January 19, 2008 Glad your home. Are you guys supposed to get snow from this system as well? Can't tell from TWC. It's up to 20 or 30 flakes now, a regular blizzard! Biggest problem with going for a ride today will be getting down and up the slope to my garage! You know what that's like, Jeff! Maybe I'll just go run around catching snowflakes on my tongue. For you Yankies, that's what people that only see snow every few years do!
mini-muffin Posted January 19, 2008 #21 Posted January 19, 2008 I don't know if we're gonna get snow or not, kinda depends on who you listen to and what time. :rotf: Guess we're gonna find out. So far we may get snow or ice. Right now we have rain. Margaret
