After we hit the deer last night (See other post), as we waited for the police and tow truck, several cars went by and some of them slowed to look at the deer and our car, but none stopped. A young guy on a crotch rocket pulled over and asked if we were OK or needed any help. Doesn't surprise me a bit that a motorcyclist was the only one to stop. Had a car stopped, I would have expected the driver to also be a motorcyclist. Makes me proud of us!

Several times when I have pulled over to use the cell phone or make some kind of adjustment, I have had people stop, cars, trucks, and bikes. There are still some good people out there no matter what they ride or drive.

True, but now days it is the Good Samaritan that has to be careful. I feel guilty when I don't stop so I usually do stop but when it is all over with, boy do I feel relief. Then I put my gun back up.

in todays society you can't be to careful. a young mother was gunned down in Mobile, Al for telling a car to slow down in her neighborhood. The car came flying thru and almost hit the family dog, the lady ran to get the dog & hollered at the car when 3 men got out of the car & shot her 3 times... http://blog.al.com/live/2012/07/wendy_fishers_daughter_saw_her.html#incart_river_default So if you stop be extra careful...

When the TCI (OEM) failed me for the last time before we figured out why the Ignitech was being screwy (cross wires, incorrect test signal runs) no one stopped for me on the road I was on.

No one.

Except, for a County Sherrif, who happened to be in the area.

Three guys on a rockets waved at me, two Harley guys ignored me...

I guess the Venture scares em :)
