CrazyHorse Posted July 2, 2012 #1 Posted July 2, 2012 (edited) So Im replacing my swing arm shock mount on my 1990 I couldnt find a 90+ but I bought one from an 86 . I know there are differences with no zerk fittings on 86 but the shock mount is definitely different. The 90 has two set of bolt near the shock mount the 86 has one. Does anyone know if this will work? Edited July 3, 2012 by CrazyHorse
dingy Posted July 3, 2012 #3 Posted July 3, 2012 Here is a top view of the two different MKII swing arms. If you have both of them in front of you, measure the mounting points to see if they are the same. As far as the two bolt setup in the middle, my guess is it was a design change to make ride smoother. You can be an expert on this after it is all done !! I think it will work, at least that's what the voices in my head say !! Also, there is a rear on view of the single center bolt, if it will help any. Gary
