kyle Posted July 1, 2012 Author #26 Posted July 1, 2012 the good news is, we have very low property tax and income tax, plus in 2 years it will drop to about $50 bucks. what indiana does is tax the value of the bike by man. retail price, not what you paid for it. go figure.
Sleeperhawk Posted July 1, 2012 #27 Posted July 1, 2012 for my 08, $230 for tax and tags, goes down supposedly each year. my 11 pickup, $760, her 11 KIA, $680, so SC is not cheap for vehicles, but at least gas prices are cheaper than most parts of the country. :rotf:
alwrmcusn Posted July 1, 2012 #29 Posted July 1, 2012 What Venturous said about Tennessee.... My wife works at the Roane County courthouse and that's what she does. I think my retired Navy special tag is about $24 a year. She takes care of that so I really have no idea
Oldseadog Posted July 1, 2012 #30 Posted July 1, 2012 Here in Manitoba we have a government run auto insurance monopoly. My yearly rate is $1487.00 which I put on my visa so I can make 12 payments. From the 1st of October to May 3rd I pay alittle over $9.00 per month, then on May the 4th It jumps to $287.00 per month for 5 months. So please dont be upset when you pay less for a year than I do for 1 month's privileged access to some of the most boring and rough surfaced roads in Canada. I hear you brother! In BC, it is also a gov't monopoly. I'm not sure of the exact amount but it is over $1200 per year.
Michael_Bishop Posted July 1, 2012 #31 Posted July 1, 2012 I was just look at my registration. I got mine back in Jan here in Indiana 83.55 for a 2005 RSTD.
