I'll tell you what tho .. I'll be all over that beach and I ride a Midnight and my buddy Hulk has a bright red RSV with a set of chrome toro horns on the front of the fairing and a black windshield cut into a flame pattern and he looks like Hulk Hogan... kinda hard to miss... If you see us flag us down, we'll probably be up to no good.. hope to see ya there. So, do you really think that description makes you stand out at Bike Week??? Ill be wearing jeans and a black tee shirt....:rotf:
MAINEAC Posted February 29, 2008 #52 Posted February 29, 2008 I've been doin the Bike week and Biketoberfest thing for the last few years and usually you can count the Ventures on 2 hands all week long and the few RSV owners I've talked to don't belong to this group or the Venturers.. not sure where all you guys are hiding out but I'm hopin to hook up this year. I'll be the one with Maine plates...

Say 11am,, Tuesday at the BBQ place at Destination Daytona, Shouldn't be too packed then, like it will be at the end of the week. And maybe the same time Wednesday at Cancun Lagoon, right at the East end of the speedway. Al, I could be up for that. I'll probably be there one of those days. Leaving town tomorrow after work with a stop near Atlanta and then on to Lakeland. Dennis

If they can get the roads clear by Mon. morning I can get out of here... If not there's more snow coming on Tues.

Dennis OK my official plans for food are 10am Monday Cracker Barrel, (across the street from the speedway) 11am,, Tuesday at the BBQ place at Destination Daytona, 11am Wednesday at Cancun Lagoon, right at the East end of the speedway. Hopefully we can get a group together at least one of those times. Anyone have better ideas let me know.

There are some vendors on the mainland side of the main st bridge that are pretty good..near BMW dealer. Im easy to spot...im the good looking one.....

My cousin from Michigan plans to be there on one of his Indians, along with a friend of his that lives in Daytona. A co-worker on his Goldwing said he should be there. And a couple of guys from the sport touring forum I also frequent may make it..

Because of this the Tuesday Destination Daytona meet, at the Daytona Pig at 11AM will be Wednesday instead.

Anyone bring and carb sync gauges with them.
