mini-muffin Posted June 27, 2012 #4 Posted June 27, 2012 Well if you're ever in Norfolk or any areas nearby you should head to this place. Not sure the old man is still making the cones or not. The waffle cone maker is the same one they've been using for years. Oh and they've been on triple "d". Not sure why they didn't make the list. http://www.doumars.com/ Margaret

Flyinfool Posted June 27, 2012 #6 Posted June 27, 2012 It is obviously skewed. The Dairy state did not even get mentioned. There is a lot of great ice cream around here.
icebrrg3rd Posted June 27, 2012 #7 Posted June 27, 2012 One word - LEON'S! http://leonsfrozencustard.us/images/148033_l.jpg Since 1942! Only in WI would you have a line for custard in the middle of winter. There is no indoor space for the customers, so you are outside for ordering & eating. Those wimps on the food channels probably couldn't handle it. -Andrew

Nite Owl is pretty good to. Kopps works good in a pinch too. Edited June 28, 2012 by Flyinfool
