Aussie Annie Posted June 29, 2012 #128 Posted June 29, 2012 As Rick Haywood stated, come and ask ME what this site means!! The friendship, camaraderie, and family sentiment are well worth a $ dollar a month. We live in Western Australia, and we traveled to the states last year..... to be greeted with open arms. These wonderful people opened their hearts and their homes to us -- and we now have the most amazing memories. Geez, bloke... you have no idea what you [and your friend] have thrown away!!
jeff1 Posted June 29, 2012 #129 Posted June 29, 2012 I truly do not care how much Don makes off this site. I subcribe because this site provides me something of value and I am happy to pay for it. As long as an item or service delivers good value I do not care how much the provider pockets. I drives me crazy when people start worrying about what others are making. If the product or service is not worth what your spending DON'T BUY IT. I better quit. Jeff

Aussie, don't worry... We have an idea about who will not be around us. That is the best part!!! :cool10::cool10::cool10:
jburrell Posted June 29, 2012 #131 Posted June 29, 2012 I would gladly pay 4 times or more for the privilege of belonging to this Forum because it is not a forum it is a FAMILY. Just my . Jim I second that!! I saved enough in repairs the first 6 months from the Maint Day activities to pay my dues for life.. I am a little old after all. Much less all the food I have ate at those functions. Secondly, I have met some of the best people on earth that are fund to be around and a very good group or "good" people. That alone is worth the $12. I dont care what Freebird'e memberships totals add up too. Just please keep the site open for us and keep having the Maintenance Days and Meet n Eats. I'd sign up for life if it was an option. My jb
leo3wheel Posted June 29, 2012 #133 Posted June 29, 2012 Great the way everyone came together to drive off the troublemaker! This has been some thread!
SMSgt Posted June 29, 2012 #134 Posted June 29, 2012 I think the guy is a spammer and trouble maker. His intention was to get a few people riled up and he did just that. I never saw that his question needed a response not to mention 10 pages of responses. I'm done now.
friesman Posted June 29, 2012 #135 Posted June 29, 2012 He is a troll and not worth our time or energy. Brian
KIC Posted June 30, 2012 #136 Posted June 30, 2012 I got $12.53 cents worth of entertainment from this thread alone... Looks like I'm ahead some more...
Javarow Posted June 30, 2012 #137 Posted June 30, 2012 Its all been said, this site is as Master Card says "PRICELESS" I spend more on coffee in a day so no complaints from me. Keep up the good work Don!
Rich99 Posted June 30, 2012 #138 Posted June 30, 2012 That's it, "WOW", I didn't know a statement like that could stir up so many members, but for what's it worth, I guess everybody got their two cents worth in, me; I just pay my dues and take it one day at a time.
Trader Posted June 30, 2012 #140 Posted June 30, 2012 Kind of makes you wonder if Trail Members should be allowed to READ ONLY. I'm sure it would avoid nonsense like this. Once they see the type of technical support, the good natured friends etc etc then they can pay the dues and actually ask questions.
TDsRSTD Posted June 30, 2012 #141 Posted June 30, 2012 Hey Trader don't let one bad egg spoil it for the rest of us trial members! I've only been on here two days and have gained valuable information. In addition I'm getting a feel of the atmosphere of this forum and it's members. And I like what I see! Pretty sure at this point I'm going to enjoy being a paying member real soon. And I agree, $12 is pennies to pay for the experience!
darthandy Posted June 30, 2012 #142 Posted June 30, 2012 Well worth the $12. Even if I live to be a hundred (And can ride the whole time) I won't come close to repaying what I've saved using this site. And that's not even getting into the social aspects of dealing with the other inmat....err, I mean members. I'll keep my opinion of this fool to myself as I think everyone has made it clear what we think of him. Perhaps years of sitting on his brain has led to his problems. Andy
The Marshal Posted June 30, 2012 #143 Posted June 30, 2012 I got nothing to say, just upping my post count. LOL!
Carbon_One Posted June 30, 2012 #144 Posted June 30, 2012 I got nothing to say, just upping my post count. LOL! Those don't matter here either. As far as the OP goes nothing more needs saying than what has already been done previously. Larry
The Marshal Posted June 30, 2012 #145 Posted June 30, 2012 Those don't matter here either. As far as the OP goes nothing more needs saying than what has already been done previously. Larry Exactly, Larry! Sorry, they sarcasm font was not available. I agree with your statement 100%
yamtom Posted June 30, 2012 #148 Posted June 30, 2012 Hi, Its the best twelve bux I spend in a year. I wish I were closer to the maintenance day and other activities. Even without that I have gotten unbelievable help here, saving me untold anxiety about repairs to the bike, and dollars wasted on things that I wouldnt have needed to buy. Thanks Everyone
KIC Posted June 30, 2012 #149 Posted June 30, 2012 Need to save, for what reason I do not know, the POND MONSTERS !
