Thought just came to me!

Putting the finishing touches on my new motorcycle garage today and thought to myself I really need some music in here,since the xm radio in the Venture won't pickup in the garage thats out.Went into the storage barn and found an old stereo system that had been stored away for about 20 YEARS.Hooked it up and bingo!!!!!!Music!!!!!! Then I realized something, it matched my Venture........oh yeah......they both have cassette decks on them.Bad news!!!! I got rid of all my cassettes years ago. Oh well.

The stereo in my garage is an old Realistic with an 8-track in it. Havent had an 89-track since the early 80's.

I've got the fancier stereo in my shop.

It has a 8 track, cassette AND record player on top!

Went to look,,, yep, mine has a cassette deck as well, and stereo speakers than can be taken off for better separation, and a real antenna,,, and it works!!

Mid-70s Pioneer SX-950 in my shop.

 

Traded an old (but good) turntable for it. When I got married, found my wife had one too. We certainly didn't need two turntables gathering dust.

 

It completely rocks. Smoked a set of Bose qube speakers with it (Ted Nugent - Stranglehold IIRC). Now I behave.

thats exactly what I did Dan,to the tin roof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it worked great.....no kidding

I was thinking it would probally work. I'm a goods ways from the stations around here so need something to help pull them in.
