Guest tx2sturgis Posted June 29, 2012 #26 Posted June 29, 2012 Maybe you should have spent some time getting the dogs used to being in the box stationary before trying a ride. Work up to it in stages. Do the dogs like riding in the car? I was following a guy down the highway this week that had a German Shepard in the side car, the dog seemed quite happy about it. Lots of fresh air for power sniffing. Power sniffing? Hey Warp, you might try maybe a week or so of several short trips of less than 5 minutes at low speeds...then hug them and treat them...you know...so they can get used to the sensations but not get too worked up. Also, you might try some type of deflectors for the exhaust...when I pictured a dog box I assumed it was closed on the sides..but yours is open....thats where the fumes are getting in.
