dharnie Posted January 14, 2008 #1 Posted January 14, 2008 Paid $92 shipped to my front door at JC Whitney.
86er Posted January 14, 2008 #2 Posted January 14, 2008 Man! Where do I order a 2nd gen for $92 shipped to my door? Finally, a 2nd gen priced fairly!
RedRider Posted January 14, 2008 #3 Posted January 14, 2008 Very nice. Now, just add the Carbon One lift adapter (spring for the extra few bucks and get the model with legs). It is money well spent. RR
Eck Posted January 14, 2008 #4 Posted January 14, 2008 If you use a 3/8 strip of plywood under the front of engine, and 2 small pieces of a 2 x 4 on the rear 2 places, you will find the bike is more "level" on the jack....... Or, like already mentioned...Carbon one has a jack attachment for your bike..!
yamahamer Posted January 14, 2008 #5 Posted January 14, 2008 I HAVE THE SAME JACK....WORKS GREAT GOING UP ..JUST HAVE TO WATCH IT COMMING DOWN........DROPS FAST WITH 800+lbs. ON IT.
Guest Saddletramp Posted January 14, 2008 #6 Posted January 14, 2008 Looks very similair to the craftsman jack. How do you get to the carbon one adapter and are there pictures to see it b4 ordering?

Eck Posted January 14, 2008 #8 Posted January 14, 2008 Looks very similair to the craftsman jack. How do you get to the carbon one adapter and are there pictures to see it b4 ordering? You can send Carbon one an email asking about it.
Carbon_One Posted January 14, 2008 #9 Posted January 14, 2008 Looks very similair to the craftsman jack. How do you get to the carbon one adapter and are there pictures to see it b4 ordering? Check on the info in the 2nd gen parts and accessories of the Classifeds. Here's a link as well -- http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/69/cat/7 Larry
dharnie Posted January 21, 2008 Author #10 Posted January 21, 2008 With all respects - you have designed a very useful & very needed tool for those of us Venturer's who are doing their own thing! The pics here are what I did from your design. I am not selling anything. I used 2x2 wood, & hardware from Lowes - 3 1/2 anchor bolts ============== I do not see where/how I can upload pics
86er Posted January 21, 2008 #11 Posted January 21, 2008 While you are in the "Reply to Thread", scroll down and you will see a button that says "Manage Attachments". Click on that and it will open a new browser window, find the picture you want to post and double click on it. That will put it under your post.
MAINEAC Posted January 21, 2008 #12 Posted January 21, 2008 That looks a lot like the one I paid $50 for at Harbor Freight... except mines Yellow.
dharnie Posted January 31, 2008 Author #13 Posted January 31, 2008 here is what I made to get the RSV up & jack out from under it cost was $4 for 2x2 & bolts + scaps of metal around the shop + $35 for 4 jack stands @ Walmart. the flat bar was because the jack frame is only 12" wide for the 2x2 wood frame to fit onto it and the RSV peg supports are a few inches more. the long 2x2 is 29" by 12" wide the flat bar is 14" or so I have 1 RSV up on it for 10 days and no problem. so now I can use jack for other RSV & my Honda
