If you use a 3/8 strip of plywood under the front of engine, and 2 small pieces of a 2 x 4 on the rear 2 places, you will find the bike is more "level" on the jack.......

Or, like already mentioned...Carbon one has a jack attachment for your bike..!

With all respects - you have designed a very useful & very needed tool for those of us Venturer's who are doing their own thing!

The pics here are what I did from your design.

I am not selling anything.

I used 2x2 wood, & hardware from Lowes - 3 1/2 anchor bolts

==============

I do not see where/how I can upload pics

While you are in the "Reply to Thread", scroll down and you will see a button that says "Manage Attachments". Click on that and it will open a new browser window, find the picture you want to post and double click on it. That will put it under your post.

here is what I made to get the RSV up & jack out from under it

cost was $4 for 2x2 & bolts + scaps of metal around the shop + $35 for 4 jack stands @ Walmart.

the flat bar was because the jack frame is only 12" wide for the 2x2 wood frame to fit onto it and the RSV peg supports are a few inches more.

the long 2x2 is 29" by 12" wide the flat bar is 14" or so

I have 1 RSV up on it for 10 days and no problem. so now I can use jack for other RSV & my Honda
