Keeping the pre-sets alive ?

How much power/volts does it take to keep the

pre-sets alive on the 2nd gen ?

 

Wanting to remove my main battery and put another

type in as I am doing some experimenting for the

Deka and Odyssey battery's , so I was thinking of

making something up to plug into the AUX plug

in the fairing to keep them alive while changing

out the battery, any tips ?

Very simple. If I wasn't lazy, I would have made one from stuff laying around. It was all made up, and very cheap, though. Works great.

SO if you work on it a little, you can hook up 2 9V batteries and have a jumper box right? That would be to easy. Neat gizmo though.

Beside the trip and radio stations what other presets are you keeping?

That would be about it. just tierd of re-setting them

this is way to simple NOT to use not sure if it

helps save anything wlse tho. mine setting

saver is paid for just have to go pick it up today.

Saving radio stations for me here lately aint been no big deal. I think I have about figured it out and set a couple. But a few days ago I tuned one in and I'll be danged they have had a format change and now is some sort of crap talk radio all the time. The other went from classic rock to new wave or whatever this crap is now with all the synthasizers etc.
