dingy Posted June 13, 2012 #5 Posted June 13, 2012 What are you doing ???? Selling parts off the trike ??? Must be worse than we've been told !!! Gary
bongobobny Posted June 13, 2012 #6 Posted June 13, 2012 No I am not Gary!! The stock mirrors were one of the first things to go on my 2nd gen when I bought it! To me the stock ones are pretty much worthless as a functional mirror for full visibility after having a 1st gen for so long...
pmj423 Posted June 13, 2012 #7 Posted June 13, 2012 What kind of mirror did you change to. I am looking for something with a larger field of view. Glad your back home
bongobobny Posted June 14, 2012 #9 Posted June 14, 2012 What kind of mirror did you change to. I am looking for something with a larger field of view. Glad your back homeI bought a pair of generic rectangular mirrors from a dealer, they were marked down to $15 each. They are larger rectangular mirrors approximately 3" x 4 1/2". Just remember you have to buy metric with the CW and CCW threads for Yamaha. You can try Dennis Kirk or any other motorcycle accessory catalog...
Carbon_One Posted June 14, 2012 Author #10 Posted June 14, 2012 Don't tell us you dropped it Larry Brad Ya long time ago. Before triking it. I just decided to go back to a stock mirror and this one had some scruff marks on it from a previous fall. Thus checking for a nicer undamaged one is all. Larry
bongobobny Posted June 14, 2012 #11 Posted June 14, 2012 You'll be happy with these, Larry, they only have about 1000 miles on them...
