I am purchasing a new venture on Friday. Can anyone give me an idea of the maintenance schedule.

I posted this reply to your request in the welcome thread. Hope it helps.

 

Go to this link and download the service manual. Section 3 page 2 has the maintenance schedule. It is a bit aggressive though and most of us don't follow it 100%. Change the oil on a regular basis and you are pretty much good to go.
