royalstarjac Posted January 13, 2008 #2 Posted January 13, 2008 Whoa! I think that's the first VV we've had on here. Nice! How do you like it?-Jack
utadventure Posted January 13, 2008 #3 Posted January 13, 2008 I have to admit, the finished product looks better than the previews I saw of it. Congrats!! Ride Hard!!
Squidley Posted January 13, 2008 #4 Posted January 13, 2008 They definitely are different looking, let us know what you think about once you get a few miles on her
1BigDog Posted January 13, 2008 #5 Posted January 13, 2008 Looks sweet Edd. Glad to see you back again. Hope the new year finds Janet and yourself well. Were heading down to Tampa in a few weeks to see Jeans mother. Maybe we can get together then.
timk Posted January 13, 2008 #6 Posted January 13, 2008 I think I see you smiling in that picture. Congrats
Grandpagak Posted January 13, 2008 #8 Posted January 13, 2008 did they demonstrate the great way that when it lays on its side tha nothing gets hurt.. ????? i saw that just this weekend... kinda look somewhat like a venture... well at least it starts with a V...LOL
Bartley Posted January 14, 2008 #9 Posted January 14, 2008 Let us know how it compares to the Venture after you've taken her out and stretched her legs somewhat. To me, the VV is still one of the ugliest motorcycles out there:yikes:, but after having sat on one at the Int. Motorcycle Show last week, I must say that it fits me as well as the RSV (maybe even a little better). I can see it being a very comfortable bike to ride and I LOVE those huge floorboards. I guess it's just one of those bikes that has to grow on some of us before it's appreciated as an entire package. Enjoy!
flb_78 Posted January 14, 2008 #10 Posted January 14, 2008 Is that a good Transformer or an evil one?? I shouldn't pass judgment until I ride one. Have fun with it, let us know how it is!!!
Saddle_Bag Posted January 14, 2008 #11 Posted January 14, 2008 I must be living in a closet. I think the bike looks sharp, but what is it??? A VV??? A Victory?
Guest KitCarson Posted January 14, 2008 #12 Posted January 14, 2008 Let these guys say it is an ugly bike........I will stand beside you! I like it, think it is a neat bike. A lot of thought has went into lighting and safety and being visible looked like to me. I bet if and when they market a new Venture it will be a little like George Jetson also...........trend of the times......space age engineering. Does the bike have headset communication? CB or is this an add on up to the buyer? I saw one at the Meet and Eat in NC......could not sit on it or play with it.......was wondering about communications......for the price thought it should have it.......did figure out it had linked brakes, wondered why they did not go to ABS.....but linked is also good, might even be better under some situations.
KiteSquid Posted January 14, 2008 #13 Posted January 14, 2008 I will have to assume that you bought a Victory Vision Tour model http://www.polarisindustries.com/en-us/Victory/2008Navigation/Vision/VisionStreet/ What is MSRP on it? What did you pay for it?
AKRefugee Posted January 15, 2008 #14 Posted January 15, 2008 Congrats on the new ride. Check out the stats and some things I noticed were 1. seat is 3 inches lower. probably no good for my 36 inch inseam 2. air cooled. let us know what the heat factor is like. 3. electronic windshield height adjustment. hows that working out? Enjoy the ride, It does look pretty in a weird kind of way
Guest Saddletramp Posted January 15, 2008 #15 Posted January 15, 2008 :322:CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW RIDE!!!!!! I know how exciting it is to bring her home for the first time. Hope it gives you many :7_6_3[1]:miles and smiles.
