Thinking about a WV Meet & Eat.

Sounds good to me Skid. Early September maybe, and on a weekend/Saturday maybe, leave home Friday evening and stay all night in WV. Saturday - eat ride and back home on Sunday or Monday.

 

Fuzzy...normally the colors don't peak until the last week of September thru first week of October in the higher elevations.....since the Mountain State Forest Festival in Elkins is September 29th to October 7th this year, you might just want to stay a week to enjoy the riding scenery and festival... if Skid was to pick the last of September.

The attached picture was taken on Spruce Knob Road October 4th 2008. Spruce Knob is the highest point in WV.

Hmmm, we are taking off after Labor Day for a couple of weeks to go to Mt Rushmore, I suppose we could take a southern route...
