Just wondering if anyone else has seen this kind of wear patern from a rear e3 , i color one of the dips in the tread, tire has around 17,000 miles on it. its more on the left side of the tire. right side shows just a little wear .

The left side of motorcycle tires usually does wear more than the right because roads are crowned and this pushes harder on the left side.

What air pressure are you runnin? Looks to me that your tire could have used a little more air in it.

I run 48 psi in my rear e3 and that took away all the dips on my bike. Every bike is not the same due to the way you drive it.

Hope this helps

From the depth of those grooves it looks like you have a lot more miles left in them, and doesn't even look like they have 17,000 on them. I've put about 6,000 on a new set of E3's and they still look like new... Looks like they are going to be a good high milage tire....

I have 8K on my Dunlaps and they are about wore out, I got 25K from the Avon Venoms. looks like you may have a little cupping like has been said pressure and also could be your rear shock going bad.

I been running 40 psi in the rear and 38 in the front, Now we do haul some weight, more like over loaded :whistling: so maybe i need to bump up the psi, i think it says 40 psi on the side wall?
