CB Stuck

I'm going to ask what i hope to be a dumb queston. The CB on my bike seems to be stuck on channel 9. I have pushed every button on the thing but it won't change. I see there is a preset button for that channel, could it be stuck???

Channel 9 is suppose to be an emergency channel and the red button will take it back to that channel from wherever it is. Also if you have a fuse gone then every time you turn in on it will be on channel 9. If it won't change then my guess is that button is stuck..

Would that be any fuse? The PO did a hack job on the wiring so there could be a fuse missing.

There are two inline fuses behind the front left signal. Take out the signal from the fairing and you should see them. White plastic holders. If that one is gone then the memory won't work BUT you should be able to change while you have the bike on or running and the only problem would be that it won't remember where you were when you turn off the ignition. IF it won't change to any channel then either the Red button is stuck or that circuit is on for some reason.. maybe corrosion..

Try pushing that red button a couple of times,,, it tends to get sticky, and then that overrides the direction buttons.
