Updated Venture for 2013???

Hey Folks,

 

Yesterday I was in a local Yamaha dealership and the manager told me that today, June 6th, Yamaha will be revealing to their dealers what the new bike lineup will be for 2013. Since I won't be back to that dealer for a week or so, I thought i would jump on here and ask if anyone has heard any news as to whether Yamaha is going to be doing any upgrades on the 2013 Venture?

 

Anybody have a scoop on this?

Thats funny! I would sure hope that if they put minds to it, they could come up with something better than that. Lol.

I wish they would release a second venture more along the lines of the 1st gen. Yamaha needs to make a K1200LT clone/killer. as the FJR1300 is not a touring bike riding 2 up.

I so want a VMAX 2012 engine on a 1st Gen Venture setup

 

but it will probably be the same as last year.... sigh.... I like the Royal Star, but its more of a "Spiritual" successor, than a successor.

You know, that doesn't look that bad. I just don't like the vtwin replacing the v4. This would probably make me feel the same way the 1st Gen owners feel toward the 2nd Gen bikes.

ETCSWJOE, I do believe you hit it right on the nose. If you google the new yamaha line up for 2013 you will find the new 2013 stratoliner deluxe with all the latest goody's, with the exception of the trunk. Stick a trunk on that baby and you have yamaha's new touring bike.
