SARNA66 Posted June 6, 2012 #1 Posted June 6, 2012 My local shop wants 65 labor to change the tires each for me---is that a fair price? Thanks everyone chris
Freebird Posted June 6, 2012 #2 Posted June 6, 2012 If he is pulling the wheels off the bike and etc., then I think that is a fair price. If you are taking the wheels to him then it's bit high. If I pull the wheels and take them to a local shop, they charge $25.00 per wheel mounted and balanced.
midnightrider1300 Posted June 6, 2012 #3 Posted June 6, 2012 i just had mine done Friday * pd $92.00 to have tire changed, balanced, nitrogen added, NEW rear break pads ($33.00) + put on...BUT my local dealer wants $65.00 and a Trike shop wants $55.00 if it's on the bike...
JohnT Posted June 7, 2012 #5 Posted June 7, 2012 "mount and balance customer provided tires" $130 plus tax. Drove in with the old and drove out with the new. I didn't mind a bit. Not taking the rear off and re-installing it. Life's to short. (at least when it's not winter)
