Its not OEM but these people will make a windshield to fit just about anything, even in a tint if you want. They will even alter the size to what you want. I had two made by them for friends one in a green tint.

The OEM shield is no longer available. I called every dealer in the USA that I could find and there are none left in the system to be had.

After market is the only option left.

At least call F4 Customs, He told me that since the OEM is no longer available, if there was enough interest he would make one. That is the one I want. It is the most scratch and chemical resistant ones available.

I even left them an old 1st gen one to keep, so they could use it for a pattern if you just want to phone in.

Dennis kirk has windshields for the 1st gens. My neighbor got one, it is an aftermarket, it is 1 1/2" taller than the stock one. I tried it on mine and the buffeting of the helmet was better than the stock w/s. I think it went for $85.00. I think the brand was slipstream.

How long ago was that? Do you remember who you dealt with?

Bum...they want $180.00...I know I can get one for way less than that even with shipping.

Does anyone know if these shields are made of acrylic??

yep quality windshields cost a fair bit, my xxl clearview with the light tint and the vent was over 300 bucks delivered into Canada.

Didn't think it was that bad actually.

Very happy with it.

Oh wait...I thought you meant $104.00 for the shipping cost alone...DOH! That is quite reasonable.

if they sent it via UPS or FedEx it might have been that much. I specifically requested they send it by USPS to avoid the rediculous brokerage charges.
