Freebird Posted June 7, 2012 Author #51 Posted June 7, 2012 Nope, too late now. After I saw the teardrops rolling down her cheeks, we took her to Goodwill and picked up a couple of things for her to wear home. I felt so bad for her.
Yammer Dan Posted June 7, 2012 #52 Posted June 7, 2012 Dang It!! What did I miss now?? I'm always missing the good stuff....
Flyinfool Posted June 7, 2012 #53 Posted June 7, 2012 Dang It!! What did I miss now?? I'm always missing the good stuff.... You had to be there. See what happens when you let your brother take out brown sugar.
dacheedah Posted June 7, 2012 #54 Posted June 7, 2012 (edited) It was awesome, except a bit of bad weather, but if you ride that's riding. Wife wasn't as social as usually is but I will give her props as she is needing some medical attention and was in a wee bit o pain but was a trooper on the trip. I do appreciate you checking our carbs before we pulled out on Sunday. I was just fine putting faces to names. You and the wife are great hosts and hostess. For those first gener's I did have to hear the wife tell me how much she misses the adjustable backrest, the rear radio controls, the arm rests, the floorboard positions for the rear rider and the trunk and bag size. The wife does thank Dragonslayer 4 the pink bandana and if he sends me his address , every year for Fathers Day we have a fathers day http://www.runforautism.com , if you send us your size we will send you a run shirt. Dragonslayer Posted June 8, 2012 #55 Posted June 8, 2012 Nope, too late now. After I saw the teardrops rolling down her cheeks, we took her to Goodwill and picked up a couple of things for her to wear home. I felt so bad for her. Now wait a minute.... she seemed fully clothed to me at the time..... I believe that if she had been naked I would have noticed that.
Flyinfool Posted June 8, 2012 #56 Posted June 8, 2012 Now wait a minute.... she seemed fully clothed to me at the time..... I believe that if she had been naked I would have noticed that. Well since you didn't notice that, you must be really old........
Yama Mama Posted June 8, 2012 #57 Posted June 8, 2012 You know, I was totally unaware of any of this going on. This must have happened on the front porch, while I was on the back porch. Next time when Bob gets into a jam like this, let me know! For now keep me ABREAST of the situation! Yama Mama:smile11:
Dragonslayer Posted June 8, 2012 #58 Posted June 8, 2012 You know, I was totally unaware of any of this going on. This must have happened on the front porch, while I was on the back porch. Next time when Bob gets into a jam like this, let me know! For now keep me ABREAST of the situation! Yama Mama:smile11: I had gotten a pink ( Manly Pink) t shirt from the Wellington F.O.E. from their Poker run for Breast cancer which read "Big or small let's save them all" which is certainly a noble cause in my opinion. And when I returned to MD it was highly covented by at least one young lady that I had never met. I probably should have done the gentlemanly thing and peeled it off and given it to her on the spot..... but, I kinda liked the shirt myself. Instead I tried to appease her by giving her my new equally attractive pink bandana. Which was imprinted with a message about courage, inner strength (Intestinal fortitude). Coincedentally some of the gangee tattoed on my left wrist represent those exact same concepts. But, as pointed out by Don I apparently fell short of my Dragonslayer motto "Your wish is my command" since I did not peel it off on the spot. So..... now I'm gonna have to try and track done the young ladie at the F.O.E. who was selling them for the Eagle Riders Poker run and see if I can get any more to forward to Chris from Il to keep my honor and reputation as a Dragonslayer intack.
Yama Mama Posted June 8, 2012 #59 Posted June 8, 2012 Thanks Bob for explaining that to me. That is nice of you to give her your shirt off of your back and a bandana too. You are a good guy, no matter what they say! Yama Mama:smile5:
Yammer Dan Posted June 8, 2012 #60 Posted June 8, 2012 Reminds me of way back in the day Istopped at a bar. Hard to believe I know!! Anywho this very well endowed?? young lady liked my tie-dyed t-shirt. She said "Isure would like to have that shirt!! And of course I said "Wanna Trade??" Off it came with her standing there holding it out to me. To this day I can close my eyes and that picture is there!!! I don't guess it was all that unusual at the time (late 60s) but I wasn't expecting it and this girl was a 14 on a 1 to 10 scale!! This just brought that back to me. Thanks Bob!!
