rod Posted January 12, 2008 #1 Posted January 12, 2008 I have an chance to do some school in the Sacramento area three weekends starting on Feb 22. What is the weather like this time of year? I have an Aunt who lives there but they don't ride. How bad is the fog and how well are the roads kept up? The class is in Rocklin and do they get ice there? Thanks Rod

Thanks Rod Rod, the weather during Feb is hit and miss wet. Rocklin hasn't seen ice or snow in.... forever... Roads are good and well maintained. If the weather cooperates that time of the year there are some good lower elevation roads for weekend getaways. You don't want to go to far up the hills as we have lots of snow in the Sierras above 4,000'. Gimme a call when you get here and I buy you a cup of coffee.... or lunch if you twist my arm....
rod Posted January 12, 2008 Author #3 Posted January 12, 2008 Thanks I will let you know the outcome. I would rather do the MFS exersizes on my Virago but my back can't take it for that long a trip so I would have to load it in the truck which would cost more in gas. If I rather ride the Venture up but it is a ***** on the first 3 exersizes where you have to push it around. BTW the coarse is the MFS Instructor class. Rod
