Converse Military Boots

I am not big on endorsing product but I thought I would share this one.

 

I bought a pair of Converse C8874 Combat boots with composite toe in January and I have to say this are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I use them to ride, hike and work with no issues at all. With the composite toe instead of steel it does not heat and cool.

I wear a similar type in an EMT boot with the side zipper. Very comfortable, and easy on and off.....

I'm looking at boots to replace my Danner boots. I'd like some that are water proof with a side zipper. Any of those recommended have that?

My brother and I bought the Converse C9894 composite toe and sidezip, www,511tactical.com had them on clearance 2 months ago for $39.95. A good boot. I doubt if a boot has a sidezip it would be considered waterproof.

Look at LApolicegear.com. They have boots on sale quite often. I have 2 pair from them and they are really comfortable and side zip.
