dingy Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I need suggestions for a cartoon caption to be put by the Tweety bird I have on each side of the trunk. Going to have Jaybird put something on at Freebirds this coming weekend. I have a similar Sylvester the cat emblem coming that will go on the rear center of trunk. He will have a cartoon caption reading '"I thawt I taw a Tweety Bird!" These are a metal key chain emblem that I have removed the round connector at the top and attached with automotive emblem glue. Looking for something sort of cute and funny, and not demeaning to anything. Might get a cage done around 1 of them, and something else on other one. dingy Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 I tawt I taw a 2nd Gen? Actually, my 1st thought was, 'I tawt I taw a Harley' but I don't want someone with a different sense of humor defacing the bike. Gary
StormRaven Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 The Caption: "Uh oh... wan outta piddies" The back story from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?": [Eddie is hanging on to a flagpole] Tweety: Oh, wook! Piddies. Eddie Valiant: Hi, Tweety. Tweety: This wittle piddy went to market. [lifts one of Eddie's fingers from the pole] Tweety: This wittle piddy stayed home. [lifts another one] Eddie Valiant: No. Tweety: This wittle piddy had roast beef... [lifts another one] Tweety: And this wittle piddy had... [Eddie falls] Tweety: Uh-oh, wan outta piddies. Or an earlier example from when "A tale of Two Kitties" (1942) [Catstello is hanging from a wire by one foot; Tweety is jumping on his toes] Catstello: Hey, cut it out! Cut it out, pigeon! Don't do that! Tweety: [pulls off one toe] This widdle piddy went to market... Catstello: Babbit! Tweety: [pulls off second toe] This widdle piddy tayed home... Catstello: Babbit! Tweety: [pulls off last toe] This widdle piddy had woast beef... Catstello: Babbit! [falls] Tweety: Well, whatdya know, I wan out of piddies.
