Can anyone tell me what they cost? Was told the second gens are a lot better...

I can't say what they cost as I found a new set on eBay for $12.00 for the pair. I think they run around $20-$25 each.

 

The ones I bought were for the 2nd gen and they are much better for installing. They have a wide lip around the edges so you can hold them in place much easier.
