Looking at a 05 Honda Rubicon 500 4x4 Excellant shape. Hasn't been in mud. All the extras. Thing is I have no idea what its worth and couldn't find used ones to compare on line. Only 734 miles and looks like new. All the lights and extras. Automatic or shift as you go. GPS on it. Never heardof GPS on a 4-wheeler. Tow hitch. Whats it worth??? He want 3900. I was thinking 3500?? Or should I just grab it??Never owned one but would like to go hunting again and leg won't let me. And I could ride a littlewith brother and cousins.

Now remember it's not 734 Hwy miles. We have a Yamaha Rhino 06 with 1875 miles, bought it new and have had no problems. If it looks new chances are it wasn't abused. The $3,500 offer shouldn't offend him, everyone puts in some wiggle room. Good luck

I have to agree, sounds like a solid deal. Quads seem to hold there value pretty well and I can say from experance that honda is a good long running motor if maintaned. If it dosnt have it, might even wanna invest into a winch kit-- had one on mine and it was very very handy.

I've got a Big Bear 400 quad, major reason was for the blade I could put on the front to clear the driveway of snow. Had to put a winch on there for the blade, but if you're out screwing around in the woods and hills, it comes in good!

Dan quads are a lot of fun. I was thinking negotiating from $3200 up if it is a good one.The key is a good one. I looked at used ones a year old and never did find a good one.Had to buy new to satisfy my mind. Kids can really trash one in a hurry.

Well I own the thing. Pick it up this evening. Only reason I bought is Warden will ride this with me. Maybe it will get her to try the bike??

I'm guessing you are going to sell the bikes and keep on all fours?

Uh....NO!! I rode it a little last night. Not crazy about it. I can chase the neighbors with it!!

Has built in GPS. How am I going to tell the Warden I got lost???

Hey Dan,

Congrats on your "new to you" 4X4! I think you will find that these vehicles are sprung really "tight", which means that you will be bouncing all over the place if you ride it at any speed. When I was younger, I enjoyed that kind of riding, not so much now. (I felt like I had been "beaten up" the next morning, after an extended trail ride)

The weak link on ALL of these vehicles is the wheel hub bearings. If you ride this vehicle thru a bunch of creeks, (or rivers) or deep mud regularly, then you will be replacing the wheel hub bearings every season. I have one guy that is on his third set of wheel bearings, but he thinks he is a "U-Boat Captain!"

Have fun with your new toy!

Just bought a Yamaha 450 ATV. Wife thinks it is great I got her the seat on the back and the foot pegs

yep they make some nice seats for passangers, kind of a wrap around high back thing that bolts to the back carrier. Has storage. You need the foot pegs for the passanger as well
