Just to let you all know, that Ron and I never have any plans usually. Some how June 2 must be the international date for any event to be planned on.

First my school is having a retirement party for me and two teachers on June 2.

My great nephew is graduating from Medical school on June 2. I used to baby sit him when he was in kindergarten.

But Ron and I are coming to Freebird's June 2!

I refuse to give up my favorite event of the year.

I hope the rest can forgive me!

We all knew all about those events and figured FreeBird was safe for at least this year, now we'll have to get him a Bird Mobile to keep him safe from you.

There is only one thing I hate missing more than MD at Don's and that would be Vogel, of course if Charlene and I miss that, it aint happening.......:no-no-no:...:no-no-no:.

MD is one fantastic event unfortunately I have only attended the one in 09, and I had planned on going to each one since, but something always gets in the way,:crying: mainly work and lack of vacation time..............of course there is always next year, seems to be one of my favorite sayings as of late...:doh:...............Have a great time! But hey we finally made to to B2dad and B2Mom's M&E!!!!!!:big-grin-emoticon:

Finally, a member with their priorities in order. Glad to here that you and Ron will be here Peggy. Some of these folks find the lamest excuses to miss. Work, births, graduations, weddings, etc. Geeezzzzzzzzzzzz .... :whistling:

Thank you Don! I forgot one other event. Our son's girlfriend's graduation party is also June 2, which we were invited to. Now that I am retiring, these could be our last invitations to any thing!

I know what you mean....my days are still not approved from work...11 officers short at this time.....I feel a summer flu comming on....OOOPS!..... I shouldn't say that on the internet....26 years and have to fight for a couple of days off. Figure that out :bang head:

That is one of the many reasons that I have decided to retire after 21 years. I need some freedom to do what I want to do when I want to do it. Our youngest daughter and granddaughter live 10 hours away and now I have the freedom to go visit when I want to.

It should be great.

I'm sick and tired of things allways getting in the way of our plans. The older I get the shorter life gets. My bucket list is full. Its time to start emptying it. I want to do what I want to do! Not what everyone else wants from me. So Screw Work!!! I want ride! Now if only I had more vacation time.:confused24:... and :mo money:
