reddevilmedic Posted May 14, 2012 #1 Posted May 14, 2012 whew!! i took a chance on an ebay listing...it didnt say it was for a venture, but, it looked like the right seat. negotiated it for 150.00 plus shipping. its nice!! no rips, tears, scratches. the rear is much larger than the stock too. removable backrest, it also goes up and down. the backrest, that is.
Snaggletooth Posted May 14, 2012 #2 Posted May 14, 2012 Nice looking saddle for sure. The thing is...... let us know how much ya love it after a days ride. Some love 'em....... some hate 'em. I'm hoping the best for ya. Mike
reddevilmedic Posted May 14, 2012 Author #3 Posted May 14, 2012 so i hear. but, the stock is killin me. the Corbin HAS to be an improvement.
cecdoo Posted May 14, 2012 #4 Posted May 14, 2012 Looks like you got a great deal, I love mine:thumbsup: Craig
bongobobny Posted May 14, 2012 #6 Posted May 14, 2012 The complaint I've heard about the corbin is that you tend to slide forward while riding...
wkoepke Posted May 15, 2012 #7 Posted May 15, 2012 i do tend to slide forward on mine, mostly when stopping. it is a little firm, but much better than the stock seat.
GaryZ Posted May 15, 2012 #8 Posted May 15, 2012 I've said this many times on here . . . The Corbin seats seem to work best for folks 200lbs or more. I love the one on my Ninja. If you don't like it, I will give you $200 for it

GaryZ Posted May 17, 2012 #14 Posted May 17, 2012 i love my new saddle!!!! ive put 400 miles on it in a couple afternoons, very cozy! Darn!
saddlebum Posted May 18, 2012 #15 Posted May 18, 2012 I used to slide forward on my stock saddle for my 89. I added some padding to the front, tappering it back and slightly built up the pommel area of the saddle and now I sit secure and comfortable.
