royalstarjac Posted May 14, 2012 #1 Posted May 14, 2012 After going on a 200 mile+ ride on the ST1300 last weekend the wife could barely climb off the bike. She was in pain for 2 days after. I showed her a pic of this bike that a local dealer had on ebay and she said "get it....now!" so I did. Another RSV was not an option since I won't put her on a non ABS bike since I totaled the '07. Hope yall like it! ps Mama is now a happy camper and you know what they say about that!
Wanderer Posted May 14, 2012 #3 Posted May 14, 2012 Looks good. Hope it's all you want and more. I understand the need to make the little lady happy and as for myself I'm starting to explore sidecars. The knees ain't what they used to be.
Marcarl Posted May 15, 2012 #7 Posted May 15, 2012 It even kind of looks like a Venture,,, maybe it's a VentureWannaBe. Best of all to you and your new ride,,, enjoy!
bj66 Posted May 15, 2012 #9 Posted May 15, 2012 There are starting to be more and more of us who made the switch. Another year or so and we will need a "Venture Davidson" section on here. OK maybe not........Looks Nice man.

Wanderer Posted May 16, 2012 #21 Posted May 16, 2012 Oh great, instead of washing your phone once in awhile, you'll just bounce it off the road. :rasberry: George, I thought you were going to get a new/newer bike at one time. You must have a couple o' hundred thousand miles on that 08 by now.
Sleeperhawk Posted May 17, 2012 #22 Posted May 17, 2012 George, I thought you were going to get a new/newer bike at one time. You must have a couple o' hundred thousand miles on that 08 by now. Nope, only 58,000 slow year, worked way to many weekends.
