Aimhigh Posted January 9, 2008 #1 Posted January 9, 2008 I cannot seem to find any postings that show the size and type of Avon Venoms for an '07 RSV. I want to put these on the bikes at the same time I have the Baron Bars and the Rivco LED lights installed. Appreciate any help.
Jerry W Posted January 9, 2008 #2 Posted January 9, 2008 The Avon tires will be the same as the stock tires that are on your RSV, unless you choose to go with the smaller front tire like some have. You can look on your stock tires or in your manual for the size.
BuddyRich Posted January 9, 2008 #3 Posted January 9, 2008 http://arizonamoto.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SWMT&Product_Code=305303&Category_Code=Venom http://arizonamoto.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SWMT&Product_Code=305321&Category_Code=Venom I believe these are the right sizes
Aimhigh Posted January 9, 2008 Author #4 Posted January 9, 2008 Thanks Jerry. I guess the size is not really the concern, so much as the type of tire. There seems to be biased, radial, and regular Avon Venoms. Which is the best?
BuddyRich Posted January 9, 2008 #5 Posted January 9, 2008 http://www.avon-tyres.co.uk/motorcycle/?page=tyres&method=showspecs&id=1 The bike was not designed for radials so stick to the biased. AM41 and AM42 You want to stick to the 80H load/speed on the rear for sure
Aimhigh Posted January 9, 2008 Author #6 Posted January 9, 2008 Thanks BuddyRich. the biased is the one, not the radial...how about just the regular ones?
BuddyRich Posted January 9, 2008 #7 Posted January 9, 2008 Edited my previos post to show the Avon site

kbran Posted January 9, 2008 #10 Posted January 9, 2008 Just as a help for the future, you can also look at the simalar threads at the bottom of this post and the one being pointed out is the third thread and the others are infomative as well.
Fvogt Posted January 9, 2008 #11 Posted January 9, 2008 Hay Just gus I live in the sticks theres no need to pick on me, I just figured he could find the post if he knew where to look. And the web here is slow when the youngens are out of school. Fred
BuddyRich Posted January 9, 2008 #12 Posted January 9, 2008 There ain't no sticks out there. Lots of rocks though...
Jerry W Posted January 9, 2008 #13 Posted January 9, 2008 Thanks Jerry. I guess the size is not really the concern, so much as the type of tire. There seems to be biased, radial, and regular Avon Venoms. Which is the best? Go with the Venom's they have a great feel and grip the road. Air them up and enjoy the ride.
