Cb question

On my cb I can transmit ok by when I receive it's has static in the background just installed a light bar would this be causing interference?

Unless you nip a wire I wouldn't think so, I installed one on mine and I don't have a problem keep in mind that they are not trucker quality CB's meaning you are not going to hit skip land with them, but for group riding they are good or a mile or 2 they are good...

Disconnect the light bar and see if the noise disappears. That's the only way you'll tell

Check you connections in the fairing you may have accidentally pulled one loose a little. Also check the ground.

It is very possible I would think, I drive a semi and when I turn the amp on for my sub wolfers I get some background noise on my cb I've never really used the one on my bike but I would think its basically the same have you cheaked the cables mounts and antennas to make sure there tight and clean?
