lonestarmedic Posted January 9, 2008 #1 Posted January 9, 2008 Here's the outside of the house. This place has potential to be fantastic!! Nice lot with trees, big backyard with a brick patio, and room for a garage. The windows and front rooms are fantastic. Hardwood floors in great shape. JB
mini-muffin Posted January 9, 2008 #2 Posted January 9, 2008 Nice pics. Looks like it will be a nice house when it's fixed up. Margaret
Sawhorse Posted January 9, 2008 #3 Posted January 9, 2008 That house has some fine looking bones. Bet it will be a grand home when it is finished. Wish I were closer where I could help. Dean
sarges46 Posted January 9, 2008 #4 Posted January 9, 2008 We would die for a house like that! What a beautiful thing.
Dano Posted January 9, 2008 #5 Posted January 9, 2008 Very nice place, really like the stacked porches, something you don't find anymore. Remember the houses that were plain on the outside, but beautiful on the inside with all the plaster and woodwork?! That's what this house looks like. I wonder what the original exterior was like before they put the siding on? Interesting project, good luck with it. If I'm in the area over the next couple years, I'll bring my toolbag and spend a weekend. Love working on these houses. Dan
Freebird Posted January 9, 2008 #6 Posted January 9, 2008 My wife would trade our house for that one in a heartbeat if she could do it without moving. She loves Victorian and we had a reproduction Victorian when we lived in Texas. It was our favorite house. What she misses most is the upstairs porch/balcony on the back of the house. That's where we usually had our morning coffee.
